During peak season we rent from Saturday to Saturday only.

We only want to stay just for the weekend, is that a problem?
During peak season we only rent for weekly rate, so whether you stay 1 night or 7, same price.
Also, during peak season we only rent from Saturday to Saturday.
Off peak weeks are same price 4 - 7 nights, 1 - 3 nights get a nightly rate.

What dates do you have available?

How much are your reservation fees and other additional fees?
There are no reservation fees or any other hidden charges/fees. This is a family owned rental. We are not affiliated with a real estate agency.

What is the procedure for renting?
We send you a contract. You complete the contract and return it to the address located at the bottom of the contract, along with a copy of your drivers license, 2 proofs of residence and your deposit. Once the deposit has cleared the bank, our contract is bound.

What kinds of payment do you accept?
Payment methods are at the discretion of the owner. If you live within the state of South Carolina or have rented from us before a personal check will usually be accepted. From all other United States a United States Postal Money Order, or any major credit card paid through PayPal, or Western Union will be accepted. The renter is responsible for any charges imposed by PayPal and Western Union. PayPal charges 2.9% + .30 of the total amount paid. This amount will be subtracted from the renters deposit when it is returned.

Money is tight right now and the deposit will put my family in a bind. Is there any way we can omit the deposit?
We do understand your problem. If you live in the state of South Carolina OR if you live outside the state of South Carolina, and have rented from us before you may pay your rent and deposit in 2 checks. We will hold the $200 deposit check until the condo is inspected with no damage and left clean. We will then mail your deposit check back to you.
If you have never rented from us before and you live outside of South Carolina I'm sorry, I can not help you right away. You must be able to cover the deposit at time of booking.

What qualifies as a proof of residence?
A copy of two utility bills (account and dollar amounts marked through)which match the address on your drivers licencse.

What if I change my mind and want the check out maid service while I am in the condo on vacation? Is it too late?
Contact the owners, most of the time it can be arranged. The cost is $50 and can be deducted from your deposit or wired to the owners by Western Union.

You will receive the keys by mail approximately a week and a half before your check in date.

"I love your condo! I want to rent it again for the same time next year."
A partial deposit of $100 due within 15 days of booking. The remaining $100 is due by February 1st,2006. Your deposit will be refunded 100% if you cancel 60 days before your booked date.

What if a hurricane is due to strike the area during my vacation?
There will be no refund for inclement weather, except in the event the Governor of South Carolina states there is a mandatory evacuation. In the event of mandatory evacuation, the pro-rata share of the rental charge will be refunded.

Why is it better to rent from the owner instead of a real estate agency?
CASH IN YOUR POCKET - NOT THE REALTY COMPANIES.
When you rent from the owner you don't have to pay reservation fees, you only pay for check out maid service if you want it and you are not required to purchase their rental insurance (isn't that what your deposit is for?). We also pay all taxes. Read their fine print, you'll learn alot. Renting from us will save you approx. $120.00 per week

Is there any bedding in the condo?
There are 4 pillows and some blankets. No linens are provided.

Do you provide beach chairs?
No. You may purchase them from one of the local stores or K-Mart, which is about 2 miles away. There are lounge chairs provided around the pool that must stay in the pool area.

Can I make local or long distance calls?
No. With the popularity of cell phones, the local telephone service has been disconected. There is an emergency phone located on the ground floor beside the first aid kit beside the office. Please make sure you know where it is in case of an emergency.

Is there extra storage space?
Yes. There are 2 storage bins under the bed and ample room under there for luggage.

Yes, it is new and is a 4 cup model.

What is your cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible. I will provide a refund of deposit as followsÂ…Â…. Refund 100% of deposit if notified within 60 days of occupancy...... Refund 100% of the deposit if the unit IS re-rented for the same time period............................................................... Refund 50% of the deposit if the unit is NOT re-rented for the same time period if notified within 30-60 days of occupancy.............................. NO refund of deposit if the unit is NOT re-rented for the same time period if notified within 29 days of occupancy.................................................................................. All money paid toward rent will be refunded.
